Florida Vacation

Now this is what I am talking about. Beautiful weather and a great time with good friends. In the whole seven days the wife and I only disagreed one time. And I have to confess that she was right. Oh well, can't be right all of the time. Missed haveing our children and grandson with us, but already planning on taking them with us next year. Can't take the other three gandkids though, will have to find baby sitters for them. That's because they are dogs. Not the little small house type dogs but the huge house dog types. The picture of the wife and I para sailing was my favorite time. To see the ocean like that at 600 feet was magnificent. Seen sharks, dolphins, sea turtles and stingray's. Although I enjoyed myself tremendously there is still no Place Like Home as Dorthy says.

Family Fun

Had a great weekend with the girls and their men. Oh yeah, and all the grandkids too. Had a good visit with Daniel's family and the women watched a movie. Heard them laughing from downstairs so it must have been enjoyable and funny. The grandson was busy doing his Michael Jackson moves for everyone. Son in law got a new puppy and all was taking their turns holding it. Denise's dog, Noah, did not know what to think of the puppy and all the excitement. The weather was'nt very good for getting out and about, but made the best of it and had a good time. Lunch with the kids the next day and then homeward bound till next time.

Good Day

Have'nt been on my blog in awhile, have been outside enjoying the days he has given this past week. Went to my Dad and Mom's today with my younger brother and had a good meal and great visit. Starte raining before we headed home but we both made it safely. The wife is still working but I think she is off tomorrow. Make a Wish Walkathon is this weekend in Springfield. Looking forward to seeing the kids and grandson. Going to walk as long as I can. Hoping for a beautiful day.

Grandson Coming Home

Yep, the man is coming home this weekend. He is also bringing his new pet, Apollo. Will have fun training him for his next Nerf battle with his Uncle. Hope for some sunshine to get outside some and maybe get his old horse, Impessed, out for a brushing. His Nana has to work so it will be just him and I for a couple of days. I am sure in that time we can get into some major trouble. With the daughters help I am still learning the blog thing. Hope to get better soon.

Good Time With the Wife

The wife got off work this morning and got a couple hours rest then it was outside we went. Enjoyed the sunshine although it was a little chilly. Then went to our big city and seen a movie. Of course it was a chick flick. Visited some good friends then to Wal Mart and done a little shopping. Back home now watching the Super Bowl and blogging. Loved the pictures my daughter posted on her blog. Glad to see they had fun together with the Nerf Master Daniel.

Going to try and stay up to watch the Lakers game. Thank goodness for DVR. I'll finish it tomorrow if I get sleepy. Great past two day's with the kids and grandson. Starting to get like the wife, just hate to leave. The time goes by to fast. Had a good day with two of my good friends today. Looks like a messy day tomorrow so I guess I'll spend some time with the youngest brother. Look out Spring, I am getting closer to catching you.

Well I am getting ready for the winter storm watch. Have the generator sitting on go and propane bottle filled for heat. The animals are watered and fed and have their beds full of bedding. The wife is now fixing supper, or dinner, whatever you desire to call it. Venison, fried potatos, and biscuits and gravy. MMMMM good. Going to kick back and watch American Idol and enjoy my recliner.
